The Importance of Life Skills as Part of the School Curriculum

The ultimate goal of education is to empower children to live a fulfilled adult life. But, in today’s time and age, what one sees with the extra emphasis being laid on academic performance, is that the other facets of a child’s personality are ignored. Parents too may spoil their children, especially if it is the only child at home. Children rarely get time to interact with other children outside of school or outside of social circles. They may not get a chance to go on hikes or get involved in real-life situations. It is an insulated life.

Then, one day, when they must start working and interacting with people it becomes tough. They are found wanting. Do not let this happen to your child. Get your child into a school that focuses on imparting life skills ingrained into the school curriculum, not as an extra-curricular activity.
