Step 1: Unplugging the printer

• Remove the ink cartridges.
• Take a piece of cloth that should be slightly wetted with warm water, or you can also use an ammonia-based cleaning liquid.
• Clean the printhead and the nozzle area with that cloth carefully and gently until there is no stain of ink left.
• Now, place that wet cloth under the printhead for a few hours, this will absorb the ink.
• After a few hours of keeping the cloth under the printhead, now put out the cloth and let the printhead get dried.
• Rearrange the printer, and switch it on to check if the error still occurs or not.
Step 3: Malware protection
Malware could be a reason for the dysfunction of your printer. In this case, you need to ensure that the malware protection of your printer is properly updated.
